Horseshoe Bend… There are almost no words to describe how awesome of a place this is.

Horseshoe bend is a little turn out of highway 89. From Los Angeles it is roughly nine hours away by car. My trip to horseshoe bend began by loading the car up in Los Angeles with my boyfriend and visiting our friend Nick in Flagstaff for a day where we hit up some lava tubes in the snow.
Then packing up from there and driving down to horseshoe bend.

Horseshoe bend is an easy hike for all (it is literally like a two minute walk from a dirt parking lot) with INCREDIBLE views. When going there I recommend bringing a wide angle lens camera (a GoPro would suffice) and enjoying the view for an hour or so. It is a great pit stop on a road trip up to Antelope Canyon or just in general.
To get to horseshoe bend just put it in your GPS, you wont regret it!

The next stop on the road trip was Antelope Canyon (click for that adventure!)
