Nazi Bunker: Muphy’s Hidden Ranch Hike, Los Angeles

This hike is located in the hills of the Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles! You would never guess that the canyons of Los Angeles would have ruins created by a Nazi. Kind of spooky huh?

My friends & I decided to go take a look and enjoy this hike on a sunny weekend. It is where many local graffiti artists go to express themselves and show off their work.  When we went we took the wrong turn and actually ended up getting lost in the woods for four hours.  It was no joke. With no service and no idea where we were, we decided to just climb up.  Scaling up the side of a mountain was actually pretty scary but finding the bunker was totally worth it.  Make sure you stay on the correct path which includes a concrete flight of stairs.

To get to the bunker you take a flight of 500 or so concrete stairs in the middle of the forest.  It is an insane butt workout! If you are from Los Angeles and haven’t seen this place yet I would go soon because they are planning on condemning it :(.  (Updated it is now 2022 and the bunker has been surrounded by a gate.)
